Businesshelden GmbH is a Berlin-based company. On behalf of our clients, we look for people for sales and commercial roles and approach them directly and discreetly. We name the client only once both sides are interested.

You received a message or a call from us because your professional background matches a role we are currently working on. If you are not interested, a short reply is enough, and we will not contact you again.

Privacy information for candidates

Because we did not collect your data from you directly, we inform you here in accordance with Art. 14 GDPR and the UK GDPR.

• Controller: Businesshelden GmbH, Kaiserdamm 7, 14057 Berlin, Germany, represented by its Managing Director Sven Emmrich. Email: info@businesshelden.de. Registered at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg (Berlin), HRB 166121 B.
• What data: your name, professional details such as current and previous positions, employers, education, skills and region, business contact details, and notes from our conversations with you, for example about your interest, availability and salary expectations.
• Source: publicly accessible professional sources such as LinkedIn, XING and company websites, as well as recommendations.
• Purpose: to find suitable candidates for a specific position with one of our clients, to approach you, and to clarify your interest and suitability in a conversation.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest and that of our clients in approaching suitable professionals, and your interest in hearing about relevant career opportunities (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We share your profile with a client only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Recipients: the respective client, and only after your consent. We use LinkedIn and XING as platforms for making contact; their own privacy policies apply there as well. If we use AI-based tools for research or conversation notes, we only use tools covered by a data processing agreement. Our language model provider is Anthropic, contracting party Anthropic Ireland, Limited (Dublin), with processing also in the USA under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Retention: if you are not interested or you object, we delete your data without delay. We then keep only your name and a link to your profile so that we do not contact you again. Otherwise we delete your data no later than six months after the search has been completed, unless you agree to a longer retention period.
• Your rights: you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). In particular, you can object to the processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), for example with a short reply to our message or by email to info@businesshelden.de. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
• No automated decisions: there is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. People decide whether we approach you and whether we introduce you to a client.
• Complaints: you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin). If you live in the United Kingdom, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
